StyleFab, Inc.  is a wardrobe and fashion styling service providing clients with assistance in developing and planning their personal wardrobe styles.  The owner, Gretchen Ratkovic, has a unique background that brings a wide array of experience and expertise to wardrobe and image consulting.

While completing her degree at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, Gretchen was involved in trend analysis work with leading fashion consultants.  She was trained and worked as a makeup artist by Trish McEvoy and built her professional career as a buyer with several major retailers.  She managed several major portions of junior and women’s fashions for a nationwide retail chain.

After leaving the corporate world to allow more family time, Gretchen saw a way to use her education and buying skills to help people develop their own style and wardrobes.  By evaluating customer likes and dislikes, understanding fit and body styles, and developing a budget, men and women find they can expand their wardrobes and spend less.   Services include closet consultation to evaluate what needs to be “edited out”, what basics can be built on, and what pieces are missing.  Gretchen has access to fashion forecasting services to provide insights for clients in their annual wardrobe planning. With her training and resources, she also assists customers that want to develop a new look by updating their hairstyle and for women, make-up.

Also, after observing the frustration of parents with teens having crammed closets and “nothing to wear”, Gretchen developed special junior consulting services.  Her background in buying for the junior market gives her credibility in working with teens to understand fashion, fit, and planning for trends.   As a third party, she can bridge the gap between parents clothing preferences and budgets and teens wishes for every latest fad.   She has found teens are anxious to learn and understand a realistic sense of personal style.
